DAY1

Aegina

DAY1

О. Егіна

We meet in Athens, at the Alimos Marina, easily accessible by bus X96 directly from the airport at 12-00. Our journey begins with a short sea crossing from Athens to the picturesque Peristeria Bay, where we will anchor for relaxation and snorkeling. The clear sea, shallow depth and a huge variety of fish make this bay extremely attractive for snorkeling. So, we launch the SAP board, put on masks and fins and set off to explore the underwater world.

DAY 2

Poros

A very famous and beautiful island among the Saronic Islands. The Poros embankment, where we will stop for anchorage, is located in an inner cosy bay, and from the top of Poros you can enjoy a divine view of the whole city and the sea. The whole life of the island is concentrated near the capital, the city of Poros, built in the form of an amphitheatre on the slopes of the surrounding hills. The main attraction of the city is the Clock Tower, built in 1927.

DAY3

Idra

Idra is a very unusual island. There is not a single vehicle on the island! Here, all deliveries are made by horse or donkey. The capital city of Idra has totally preserved its atmosphere and ancient appearance of the past centuries. Perhaps because it is forbidden to build new buildings and houses here. A walk around the city promises many new experiences and surprises.

DAY 4

Spetses

The island of Spetses is sometimes called "fragrant" due to the fact that it is home to many fragrant herbs that are used as spices by the locals. In addition, the central part of the island is covered with Mediterranean coniferous forests, which makes the air fragrant. The locals strongly support the ecology and cleanliness of the island. There are very few cars here. Mostly everyone moves around on mopeds and motorbikes. Spetses has always been a popular place to live for successful merchants and shipowners.

DAY 5

Methana

Methana is a small resort town on the Peloponnese peninsula, but the island itself is often called Methana due to the volcano of the same name, the last eruption of which was recorded in the 3rd century BC. This volcano is still burning to this day and is the only active volcano on the Greek mainland. Due to its low activity, the island is home to several thermal springs and a famous spa centre founded in 1870. Otherwise, Methana is a quiet and peaceful place where you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade and sit in a local restaurant overlooking the sea.

DAY 6

Aegina

The island of Aegina is famous for the best pistachios in Greece. They have a very thin skin and a large kernel, which makes them the most delicious and popular. You can even find pistachio jam here. It tastes just as unusual as castor oil, a white wine with pine resin that has been made according to old recipes for thousands of years.
